Do people simply ignore the question asked or are they showing off?

A: Why don’t you just look at the Exif data?
A: Don’t do that. It’s ugly.

If you don’t have time to read the question, don’t bother answering. Really.

A: If you buy a Pentax camera, you can use any lens because the stablization is built into the camera.
Q: “What is a good camera for me if I just take snapshots of myself and my friends forMySpace and e-mail? My budget limit is $ 150-160.”
A: You should get a Nikon D40 which is only $ 500 with a lens. It will take better pictures.
A: The Canon Powershot SD850 has cool effects in the camera that you can use on myspace. (The answer ignores the budget limit.)
Q: “Is there a digital camera for around $ 250 that lets you set the image to a 4×6 ratio?”
Predicted answer, which ignores the $ 250 limit: Pretty much any DSLR will give you the 4×6 ratio, so get a DSLR.
